ARP main stud kit for the Nissan RB26DETT, part number 202-5403. These replace the bolts that secure the crankshaft main bearing caps.
With studs, the caps will not shift or rub against the block when the engine is under high load, and the block threads no longer suffer during each assembly. The kit includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chrome-moly steel heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.
Tighten following ARP's sequence and values using their assembly lubricant, as the torque specs provided are designed for it. If you have questions about whether this is the correct part number for your engine, please write to us with your engine code and year.
