The ARP 202-5802 main studs are for the Nissan VR38DETT and replace the stock main cap bolts.
In a tuned engine, main caps tend to move under load; the studs prevent this and keep the block threads in good condition. Includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. They are manufactured from ARP2000, a proprietary ARP alloy that reaches approximately 220,000 psi tensile strength and maintains its properties better under heat than chrome-moly.
Follow the torque and tightening sequence in the ARP instructions, which are calculated for their assembly lubricant; if using engine oil, the actual torque changes. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are unsure, we can help you verify it.
