ARP 203-5404 main studs are for the Toyota 3S-GE and 3S-GTE and replace the factory main cap bolts.
Their function is to prevent main cap walk or fretting against the block at high RPMs, and they also protect the block threads. They come with their own hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.
Tighten following ARP's sequence and torque values using their assembly lubricant, as the specified torque ratings are designed for it. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you verify it.
