Description

ARP 204-5402 main studs are for the Volkswagen Rabbit Golf Jetta 1.6L and 2.0L and replace the stock main cap bolts.

With studs, the caps do not shift or rub against the block when the engine is under high load, and the block threads no longer suffer during each assembly. The kit includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chrome-moly treated to 190,000 psi, with the thread rolled after heat treatment.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and values and with their assembly lubricant, as the torque specs provided are intended for it. Not sure which engine version you have? Send us the code and we will confirm the part number.
