ARP main stud kit for Porsche 911 930 - 3.0L and 3.3L, part number 204-5405. These replace the bolts that secure the crankshaft main bearing caps.
In a tuned engine, main caps tend to shift under load; the studs prevent this and keep the engine block threads in good condition. Includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chrome moly steel heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.
Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, as the preload on each component will differ with other lubricants. If you are unsure whether this is the correct part for your engine, write to us with your engine code and year.
