Description

ARP 204-5406 main studs are for the Porsche 911 930 - 3.6L and 3.8L and replace the stock main cap bolts.

Their purpose is to prevent the main caps from shifting or rubbing against the block at high RPMs, and they also protect the block threads. They come with their hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chrome-moly treated to 190,000 psi, with the threads rolled after heat treatment.

Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque values, because with any other lubricant the load each part receives will not be the same. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are unsure, we can help you verify it.
