ARP 204-5408 main studs are for the Volkswagen 2.0L FSI and TFSI and replace the stock main cap bolts.
With studs, the caps do not shift or rub against the block when the engine is under heavy load, and the block threads no longer wear out with each assembly. The kit includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. They are manufactured from ARP2000, an exclusive ARP alloy that reaches a tensile strength of approximately 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better at high temperatures than chrome-moly.
