Description

ARP main stud kit for Honda B16A, B18A1, B18B1, part number 208-5402. These replace the bolts that secure the crankshaft main bearing caps.

In a tuned engine, the main bearing caps tend to move under load; studs prevent this and keep the block threads in good condition. Includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.

Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, as the load received by each part will not be the same with other lubricants. If you are unsure if this is the correct part number for your engine, please write to us with your engine code and year.
