Description

ARP main stud kit for Honda B17A1 B18A1 B18B1 B18C1 B18C5, part number 208-5403. These replace the bolts that secure the crankshaft main bearing caps.

Their function is to prevent the main bearing caps from shifting or rubbing against the block at high RPMs, and they also protect the block threads. They come with their hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chromoly steel heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.
