ARP main stud kit for the Honda CBR 1000RR (Bike), part number 208-5405. These replace the bolts that secure the crankshaft main bearing caps.
In a tuned engine, main caps tend to shift under load; these studs prevent this and keep the block threads in good condition. Includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.
Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, as the load applied to each part differs with other lubricants. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are unsure, we can help you check it.
