Description

With this ARP 219-5801 kit, the main bearing caps on the Ford Focus RS 2.5L (B5254 2000+) are secured with studs instead of bolts.

In a tuned engine, main bearing caps tend to shift under load; studs prevent this and keep the block threads in good condition. Includes hardened and ground washers and nuts. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chrome-moly steel heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.
