Description

ARP main stud kit for the Ford Focus RS 2.5L (B5254 1999 and older), part number 219-5802. These replace the bolts that secure the crankshaft main bearing caps.

Their function is to prevent the main caps from moving or rubbing against the block at high RPM, and they also protect the block threads. They come with their hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chrome-moly steel treated to 190,000 psi, with the threads rolled after heat treatment.

Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, because with any other lubricant the load received by each part will not be the same. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
