With this ARP 228-5401 kit, the main caps on the Hyundai 2.0L Turbo (G4KF) are secured with studs instead of bolts.
In a tuned engine, main caps tend to move under load; studs prevent this and keep the block threads in good condition. It includes hardened and precision-ground nuts and washers. They are manufactured from ARP2000, a proprietary ARP alloy that achieves a tensile strength of approximately 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better under heat than chrome-moly.
Tighten following ARP's sequence and values using their assembly lubricant, as the torque specs provided are designed for it. Before ordering, please confirm your engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
