Description

The ARP 251-5801 main studs are for the Ford Focus RS 2.5L and replace the stock main cap bolts.

Their purpose is to prevent the main caps from shifting or rubbing against the block at high RPMs, and they also protect the block threads. They come with their own hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chrome-moly, heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with the threads rolled after heat treatment.

Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, because the load applied to each part will not be the same with any other lubricant. Not sure about your engine version? Send us the code and we will confirm the part number.
