The ARP 271-5201 main studs are for the Suzuki M16A and replace the stock main cap bolts.
In a tuned engine, main caps tend to move under load; the studs prevent this and keep the block threads in good condition. Includes hardened and parallel-ground washers and nuts. They are made from ARP2000, an ARP proprietary alloy that reaches approximately 220,000 psi tensile strength and maintains its properties better than chrome moly under heat.
Tighten following ARP's sequence and torque values, using their assembly lubricant, as the specified torque values are designed for it. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
