ARP 204-6304 connecting rod bolts are for the Audi 4.2L FSI V8 (07-18). Replacing them is almost mandatory when opening an engine that will be running higher power, because the stock bolt is the first thing to fail.
They are manufactured from ARP2000, a proprietary ARP alloy that reaches approximately 220,000 psi tensile strength and maintains its properties better under heat than chrome-moly. ARP recommends installing them by monitoring stretch, between 0.0075 and 0.0080 inches, with a reference torque of 45 lb-ft (about 61 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
Tighten following ARP's sequence and values and using their assembly lubricant, because the torque values they provide are designed for it. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
