ARP 202-6002 connecting rod bolts are for the Nissan L24 (M8) (M8). Replacing them is almost mandatory when opening an engine that will be running higher power, because the stock bolt is the first thing to fail.

ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0060 and 0.0065 inches, with a reference torque of 26 lb-ft (about 35 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.

Respect the torque and tightening sequence in the ARP instructions, which are calculated for their assembly lubricant; with engine oil, the actual torque changes. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
