Description

ARP connecting rod bolts for the Mitsubishi 4G63 (81-93 M9) (M9), part number 107-6001. The bolt is the weak point of a connecting rod, and these replace the factory units with others that offer much higher fatigue resistance.

ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0055 and 0.0060 inches, with a reference torque of 40 lb-ft (about 54 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.

Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, because with other lubricants, the load received by each part is not the same. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
