ARP 109-6003 connecting rod bolts are for the Opel 1.4L 16V (M9) (M9). Replacing them is almost mandatory when opening an engine that will be running at higher power, because the stock bolt is the first thing to fail.
ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0050 and 0.0055 inches, with a reference torque of 32 lb-ft (about 43 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
Use ARP's assembly lubricant and their torque values, because with another lubricant the load received by each part is not the same. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
