Description

ARP 216-6301 connecting rod bolt kit for Renault F4R, F7P, and F7R (M9) (M9) engines. In a connecting rod, the bolt is the first thing to fail when engine RPM or power increases, and ARP is the benchmark for this part.

ARP recommends installing them by measuring bolt stretch, between 0.0065 and 0.0070 inches, with a guide torque of 42 lb-ft (approx. 57 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
