Description

ARP 201-6303 connecting rod bolt kit for the BMW M52B28 / M54B30 (M9 x 47 mm). In a connecting rod, the first thing to fail when engine RPM or power increases is the bolt, and ARP is the benchmark for this part.

ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0070 and 0.0075 inches, with a reference torque of 36 lb-ft (approx. 49 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has permanently stretched more than one thousandth of an inch.
