ARP connecting rod bolts for the BMW M62 and M62TU (V8 4.4L M9 x 53 mm), part number 201-6302. The bolt is the weak point of a connecting rod, and these replace the stock ones with others having much higher fatigue resistance.
ARP recommends installing them by measuring the stretch, between 0.0080 and 0.0085 inches, with a target torque of 36 lb-ft (approx. 49 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
