Description

ARP 104-6007 connecting rod bolt kit for the Audi 5-cylinder. In a connecting rod, the first thing to fail when engine RPM or power increases is the bolt, and ARP is the gold standard for this part.

ARP recommends installing them by measuring bolt stretch, between 0.0085 and 0.0090 inches, with a reference torque of 35 lb-ft (approx. 47 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and values and using their assembly lubricant, as the torque specs provided are designed for it. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
