ARP connecting rod bolts for the Peugeot XU, part number 117-6101. The bolt is the weak point of a connecting rod, and these replace the stock ones with others that have much higher fatigue resistance.
ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0070 and 0.0075 inches, with a reference torque of 45 lb-ft (approx. 61 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
