ARP 168-6001 connecting rod bolt kit for the Sea-Doo Rotax RXP-X255. In a connecting rod, the first thing to fail when the engine's RPM or power increases is the bolt, and ARP is the industry standard for this part.

ARP recommends installing them by measuring stretch, between 0.0070 and 0.0075 inches, with a target torque of 60 lb-ft (approx. 81 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.

Follow the torque and tightening sequence in the ARP instructions, which are calculated for their assembly lubricant; using engine oil will change the actual torque. Not sure which engine version you have? Send us the code and we will confirm the part number.
