ARP 201-6002 connecting rod bolts are for the BMW S85B50 (V10 M5 and M6). Replacing them is almost mandatory when opening an engine that will run with more power, because the stock bolt is the first thing to fail.
They are made of Custom Age 625+, a superalloy with a typical tensile strength of 260,000 to 280,000 psi, which is highly resistant to fatigue and corrosion. It is advisable to measure the elongation of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, because with any other lubricant, the load received by each part will not be the same. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
