Description

ARP connecting rod bolts for the Nissan Z22, part number 202-6001. The bolt is the weak point of a connecting rod, and these replace the stock ones with others that have much higher fatigue resistance.

ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0060 and 0.0065 inches, with a guide torque of 45 lb-ft (about 61 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.

Follow the torque and tightening sequence in the ARP instructions, which are calculated for their assembly lubricant; with engine oil, the actual torque changes. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
