Description

ARP connecting rod bolts for the Nissan SR20DE(T) and SR20VE(T), part number 202-6005. The bolt is the weak point of a connecting rod, and these replace the stock ones with others that have much higher fatigue resistance.

ARP recommends installing them by monitoring stretch, between 0.0065 and 0.0070 inches, with a reference torque of 45 lb-ft (about 61 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.

Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, because with other lubricants the load each part receives is not the same. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
