The ARP 203-6001 connecting rod bolts are for the Toyota 4A-GE. Changing them is almost mandatory when opening up an engine that will be running with more power, because the stock bolt is the first thing to fail.
ARP recommends installing them by measuring the stretch, between 0.0050 and 0.0055 inches, with a reference torque of 40 lb-ft (about 54 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
Tighten following ARP's sequence and values and using their assembly lubricant, because the torque settings they indicate are designed for it. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you verify it.
