Description

ARP 203-6002 connecting rod bolt kit for the Toyota 3S-GTE. In a connecting rod, the first thing that fails when the engine revs higher or power is increased is the bolt, and ARP is the benchmark for this part.

ARP recommends installing them by monitoring stretch, between 0.0060 and 0.0065 inches, with a reference torque of 50 lb-ft (approx. 68 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and values and using their assembly lubricant, as the torque specs they provide are designed for it. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
