Description

ARP 203-6005 connecting rod bolt kit for the Toyota 2JZ-GE and 2JZ-GTE. In a connecting rod, the first thing to fail when engine RPM or power increases is the bolt, and ARP is the industry standard for this part.

ARP recommends installing them by measuring bolt stretch to between 0.0075 and 0.0080 inches, with a guide torque of 65 lb-ft (approx. 88 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.

Follow the torque and tightening sequence in the ARP instructions, which are calculated for their assembly lubricant; using engine oil will change the actual torque. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
