ARP 204-6002 connecting rod bolt kit for the Porsche 944 2.5L and 3L. In a connecting rod, the first thing to fail when the engine increases in RPM or power is the bolt, and ARP is the benchmark for this part.
ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0105 and 0.0110 inches, with a reference torque of 55 lb-ft (about 75 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
Use ARP's assembly lubricant and their tightening values, because with another lubricant the load received by each part is not the same. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
