Description

ARP 204-6003 connecting rod bolts are for the Porsche 911S 2.0L and 2.2L (69-71). Replacing them is almost mandatory when opening an engine that will run at higher power, as the stock bolt is the first thing to fail.

ARP recommends installing them by monitoring stretch, between 0.0090 and 0.0095 inches, with a reference torque of 50 lb-ft (about 68 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
