Description

ARP connecting rod bolts for the Triumph TR6 and GT6 2.0L and 2.5L, part number 206-6005. The bolt is the weak point of a connecting rod, and these replace the factory ones with others that offer much higher fatigue resistance.

ARP recommends installing them by measuring bolt stretch, between 0.0065 and 0.0070 inches, with a reference torque of 45 lb-ft (approx. 61 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
