Description

ARP connecting rod bolts for the Honda C30A1, part number 208-6004. The bolt is the weak point of a connecting rod, and these replace the factory ones with others that have much higher fatigue resistance.

ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0080 and 0.0085 inches, with a reference torque of 37 lb-ft (about 50 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
