ARP 251-6203 connecting rod bolt kit for the Ford Focus RS 2.5L. In a connecting rod, the first thing to fail when engine RPM or power increases is the bolt, and ARP is the benchmark for this part.
ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0085 and 0.0090 inches, with a reference torque of 50 lb-ft (approx. 68 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has been permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
