ARP 271-6301 connecting rod bolt kit for the Suzuki Hayabusa 1300R GSX. In a connecting rod, the first thing that gives way when the engine revs or power increases is the bolt, and ARP is the benchmark for this part.
ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0050 and 0.0055 inches, with a reference torque of 45 lb-ft (approx. 61 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has remained permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
