BC Racing BR Series BMW M3 E36 RWD (92-99)

The BR Series is BC Racing's best-selling coilover and the logical first step when moving away from stock suspension. Each kit is fine-tuned for the vehicle it is manufactured for, seeking a balance that can withstand daily use without falling short on a track day. It features a 46mm piston in a 53mm body, a combination that increases oil capacity and ensures the shock absorber takes longer to lose consistency. The damping adjustment consists of 30 clicks that adjust compression and rebound simultaneously.

The front features pillowball mounts with camber adjustment depending on the application, and the rear features rubber mounts or no mounts, depending on the application. The front axle supports camber and caster adjustment, something not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

There are 30 damping combinations available, including Extra Low configurations. The one BC Racing defines as standard for this car is 6/8 kg/mm.

Before you buy

The front pillowball mounts are a rigid attachment, without elastic elements, and on some chassis, they transmit a slight knocking sound to the cabin. This does not indicate a defect, and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty nor accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber mounts avoid this effect.
