The BR Series is the gateway to BC Racing coilovers and the one that ends up being equipped on the most cars. Each application is developed by testing the actual vehicle until reaching a point that is just as convincing for daily driving as it is when pushing on a track day. Inside, it mounts a 46mm piston within a 53mm body, more generous than usual for this range: with more oil, the temperature rises slowly and the damping retains its character for longer. It is adjusted with 30 positions that act simultaneously on compression and rebound.

It comes in an integrated rear configuration: at the rear, the spring and shock absorber form a single unit instead of being separate as in the stock equipment, which allows the rear ride height to be adjusted directly on the shock absorber. It features pillowball top mounts on both axles. The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, something not available in all applications. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the adjustment from moving with use. Includes dust covers for seal protection and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 24 spring rate combinations available, including Cam/Cas, Extra Low, and Offset configurations. The one BC Racing defines as standard for this car is 6/5 kg/mm.
Before you buy
Before installation, the chassis must be reinforced in the area of the rear mounts. The integrated assembly introduces loads that the original setup distributed differently, and BC Racing conditions the validity of the kit on that work being done. This is a task for a specialized workshop and should be included in the estimate.
The front pillowball top mounts are a rigid connection, without any elastic element, and in some chassis, they transmit a slight knocking sound to the cabin. This does not indicate a defect, and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty or accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber top mounts avoid this effect.
