The BR Series is the gateway to BC Racing coilovers and the one that ends up being equipped on the most cars. Each application is developed by testing the actual vehicle until reaching a point that is just as convincing for daily use as it is when pushing it during a track session. Internally, it features a 46 mm piston inside a 53 mm body, more generous than usual in this range: with more oil, the temperature rises slowly and the damping retains its character for longer. It is adjusted with 30 positions that act simultaneously on compression and rebound.

The front mounts pillowball upper mounts, with camber adjustment depending on the application, and the rear mounts rubber upper mounts or no upper mount, depending on the application. The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from moving with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 6 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as the default for this car is 6/4.5 kg/mm.
Before buying
The front pillowball upper mounts are a rigid mounting point, without any elastic element, and in some car bodies, they transmit a slight knocking sound to the cabin. This does not indicate a defect, and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty nor accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber upper mounts avoid this effect.
