Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not dampen equally at all speeds: with the rod moving slowly, such as when braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens and allows the wheel to move up without transmitting the full impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Alfa Romeo 159 939 FWD (04-11) (Sedan/WAGON). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference ZR-06-DS-DS.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
