Description

The DS Series shares the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which gears it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that simultaneously affect compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the full impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Audi A4/S4 B9 A4 Sedan FWD (16-25) (53 mm). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference S-27-DS-DS.

The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the conical lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
