Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which gears it towards track use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that simultaneously control both compression and rebound, and the shock body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping force at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the chassis flat; when the movement is rapid, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up, allowing the wheel to move upward without transmitting the full impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Audi Q7 4M AWD (16-25) (without EDC). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference S-54-DS-DS.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate: 10/11 kg/mm.
