The DS Series is BC Racing's option for those who use their car on the track without giving up the ability to drive it on the road. It shares its construction with the BR, but features a digressive valve, which stiffens the response during slow damper movements (braking, cornering, acceleration) and softens it during fast ones, allowing the wheel to react quickly when hitting a curb. Satin chrome body and 30 adjustment positions.
Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW E36 Compact RWD (94-00). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer part number I-25-DS-DA.
Front mounts and rear mounts . The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, something not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 5 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as the default for this car is 5/8 kg/mm.
