Description

The DS Series is BC Racing's choice for those who use their car on the track without giving up the ability to drive it on the road. It shares its construction with the BR, but features a digressive valve, which stiffens the response during slow damper movements (braking, cornering, acceleration) and softens it during fast ones, allowing the wheel to react quickly when hitting a curb. Satin chrome body and 30 levels of adjustment.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW 1 Series E87 (04-13) (excluding 1M Coupé). Weighs 23 kg. Manufacturer part number I-11-DS-DA.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

There are 5 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as standard for this car is 5.5/8 kg/mm.
