Description

What defines the DS Series is its digressive valve. Building on the BR architecture, it changes the way the shock absorber reacts based on piston speed: high resistance during slow movements such as braking, cornering, and acceleration, and significantly less resistance during sharp impacts against kerbs and bumps. The result is a car that remains firm in corners and does not get unsettled when the road surface deteriorates. Finished in satin chrome with 30 clicks of simultaneous adjustment.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW 2 Series F22 M235i RWD (14-16) (3-bolt top mount). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference I-46-DS-DA.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate, 5.5/9 kg/mm.
