The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which gears it towards the track. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on both compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not dampen the same way at all speeds: when the rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to move upward without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 5 stiffness combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as the default for this car is 5.5/8 kg/mm.
