The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the piston rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, something not available in all applications. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the conical lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 7 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as the default for this car is 6/9 kg/mm.
