The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which leans it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: with the rod moving slowly, such as when braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the full impact.

Front mounts and rear mounts . The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots for seal protection and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 2 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as default for this car is 5.5/8 kg/mm.
