The DS Series shares the same base as the BR, but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the rod is moving slowly, such as when braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
